As part of our ongoing efforts to keep Bitquery focused on the most relevant and widely used blockchains, we conduct a quarterly review of all the chains we support. During this review, we identify chains with very low adoption or community activity and decide to sunset them.
We will be removing support for the following chains on 15th September 2025:
-
Tezos
-
All Testnets
-
OpBNB
-
Conflux (All datasets)
-
Beacon Chain
-
Ethereum Classic
-
Medella
-
EthereumPoW ( Ethereum proof-of-work Fork )
What does this mean?
-
These chains will no longer be indexed or updated going forward.
-
Existing historical data will be safely archived, but will not be queryable in our APIs or Explorer.
Why are we doing this?
The blockchain space evolves quickly, and some networks naturally see declining usage or community support. By removing these “Low adoption chains,” we can better focus our resources on maintaining high-quality data for actively used chains that bring value to developers, businesses, and the community.
What you need to do
-
If you are using these chains in your projects, please plan migrations accordingly.
